The International Conference “Ecoculture as a Lifestyle, Health, Food and Well-being” is an interdisciplinary event that brings together perspectives on health, food, well-being, ecology, and contemporary pro-environmental practices.
Its aim is to provide an open platform for the exchange of knowledge, experience, and best practices among researchers, industry experts, practitioners, and partners from multiple sectors.
The conference will include both on-site sessions (held at the Opole University of Technology) and an online component, enabling broad participation from national and international attendees without geographical limitations.
In addition dedicated sessions and workshops will provide opportunities for young researchers to showcase innovative ideas, gain feedback, and build collaborations that support their academic and professional development.


A call for applications has been announced for the 2026 Opole Mayor’s Scholarship for Doctoral Students, intended for those who have demonstrated significant academic achievements during the previous academic year (i.e., October 1, 2024 – September 30, 2025)

We are pleased to inform you that the National Science Centre has opened the call for proposals under the PRELUDIUM competition, which is open until 16 June.
The maximum funding available is PLN 70,000, PLN 140,000, or PLN 210,000 for projects lasting 12, 24, or 36 months, respectively. Applications must be submitted electronically via the OSF system:

Informujemy, że komunikatem nr 4/2025 Dyrektora Szkoły Doktorskiej z dnia 15 października 2025 r. otwarty został nabór wniosków na stypendia dla najlepszych doktorantów z Polski i zagranicy kształcących się w Szkole Doktorskiej Politechniki Opolskiej w ramach Projektu „STER na umiędzynarodowienie Szkoły Doktorskiej Politechniki Opolskiej”.
Uprawnionymi do złożenia wniosku o stypendium są:
- doktoranci z zagranicy oraz
- doktoranci z Polski, którzy realizują projekty doktorskie we współpracy międzynarodowej w ramach międzynarodowego programu doktorskiego, w szczególności zmierzających do uzyskania joint degree lub double degree,
którzy złożyli Indywidualny Plan Badawczy
Wnioski o stypendia należy składać elektronicznie na adres szkola_doktorska@po.edu.pl do dnia 23.10.2025 r. Do wniosku należy dołączyć dokumenty potwierdzające informacje w nim zawarte np. pierwszą stronę publikacji, certyfikat uczestnictwa w konferencji.
W roku akademickim 2025/2026 zaplanowano przyznanie 2 stypendiów.
We would like to inform you that based on the Announcement no 4/2025 of the Director of the Doctoral School of 15th of October 2025 we opened the call for applications for the scholarship for the best doctoral students from Poland and abroad in the academic year 2025/2026 within the framework of the Project „STER for the internationalisation of the Doctoral School of Opole University of Technology”.
Eligible to apply for a scholarship are:
- doctoral students from abroad,
- doctoral students from Poland who are pursuing doctoral projects in international cooperation as part of an international doctoral programme, in particular aiming to obtain a joint degree or double degree
who submitted Individual Research Plan.
The applications for scholarship are submitted electronically to szkola_doktorska@po.edu.pl until 23rd of October 2025. The application must be accompanied by documents confirming the information contained therein, e.g. the first page of the publication, a certificate of participation in the conference.
It is planned to grant 2 scholarships in academic year 2025/2026.
The InterDoc Staff Week at the Silesian University of Technology in Gliwice, planned for on 30/06-04/07/2025, will be organized jointly by the SUT Doctoral School and the International Exchange Section of the International Relations Office, as part of the “New International Horizons for Doctoral School - NIH4DS” project under the NAWA STER– Internationalization of Doctoral Schools program.
Whole event will be focused on the Enhancing International Collaboration and Research Excellence: Soft Skills, Scientific Writing, and Doctoral Development theme. The event has been designed for doctoral students mainly, and is a unique opportunity for them to learn more about research work within international environment what will be a unique opportunity to develop their scientific and soft skills, what will be confirmed by a certificate of participation. The whole week program (see the draft in attachment) includes workshops on international research project management and a series of practical workshops on scientific writing, including aspects of critical reading / critical writing, integrating sources, learning how to paraphrase without plagiarising, practical session using AI to help with writing, etc. There will also be a panel discussion on the topic of “AI, Quality and Ethics in Scientific Writing / Research.” Doctoral students’ presentations mentioned in the programme will be secured by our (SUT’s) doctoral candidates, but in case you would be interested to share your experience, you are welcome.

The Activity Line is divided into 2 complementary programmes – RIS Fellowships dedicated to Bachelor graduates, Master of Science students and graduates and RIS Talents dedicated to Ph.D. students and postdocs from EIT RIS countries which both aim to promote brain circulation, contributing to enhancing the innovativeness of personnel and development of scientific impact by supporting the creation and diffusion of high-quality new knowledge, skills, competences and solutions to food system challenges.
